WWE स्टार खेळाडूनं घेतला जगाचा निरोप; दोन महिन्यांपूर्वी झालेलं पत्नीच निधन

17 मे 2008 मध्ये त्यानं Tournament of Death या स्पर्धेत पदार्पण करताना धमाका उडवला होता.

कोरोना व्हायरसच्या संकटात जगात तणावाचं वातावरण असताना क्रीडा वर्तुळाला एक मोठा धक्का बसला आहे. WWE स्टार कुस्तीपटू डॅनी हॅव्हॉक याचं वयाच्या 45 वर्षी निधन झाले. दोन महिन्यांपूर्वी 4 एप्रिलला त्याची पत्नी ब्रायनी मोरोव्ह हिचं हृदयविकाराच्या धक्क्यानं निधन झालं होतं. डॅनी हॅव्हॉक याच खरं नाव ग्रँट बेर्कलँड हे आहे. WWEतील अन्य खेळाडूंनी श्रद्धांजली वाहिली आहे. 2017मध्ये हॅव्हॉकनं निवृत्ती घेतली होती.

2008मध्ये त्यानं कुस्तीत पदार्पण केलं. 17 मे 2008 मध्ये त्यानं Tournament of Death या स्पर्धेत पदार्पण करताना धमाका उडवला होता. 2011मध्ये त्यानं गतविजेत्या ज्यून कसाईला पराभूत करून जेतेपदही नावावर केलं होतं. त्याला पाहूनच हॅव्हॉकनं या खेळाची निवड केली होती. त्याच्या निधनाचं कारण अद्याप कळलेलं नाही.

I shared a locker room a few times w/ Danny Havoc but didn’t know him on a personal level. Reading all the wonderful stories/memories from his friends makes it clear that the we lost someone special.

Absolutely heartbroken.

I wouldn’t be who I am today without Danny Havoc.

Absolute genius who never got the credit he deserved.

Im beyond privileged to been able to travel the world with him.
